Today we host Balranald where we will be staging our famous ladies day in the marquee.  Hope all our club ladies enjoy the day!
Last week was a mixed bag on the court and field at Cohuna but look forward to some good action today against the Roos.
To last week’s results against the Kangas

Netball
The young U12 Swans started the day in good style with a good win against the Kangas.  Award winners were Meg Bennett and Zoe Brooks.  The U14 girls in a low scoring game went down in the end but fought hard all day.  Award winners Tillie Bennett (218) and Izzy Angus (Canteen).  It was a high scoring game of netball in the U18 however the Kangas proved too strong in the end.  Award winners for the Swans were Gabby Atkinson (Beauty Spot) and Ella Vroljiks (Pearson).  B res had their first loss in a long time against the Kangas although it was only one solitary goal.  They will look forward to bouncing back against the Roos today.  A Res also went down on Saturday in a rare loss.  A Grade however steadied the ship and even though it was a close game came out on top in the end.  Award winners were Casey Frame (Paper Scissors Rock) and Zoe O’Sullivan (Swanbucks).

Football
The U12s on a frosty start played well again and have kept their unbeaten run in tact.  Hopefully they can have another good win and have fun this Saturday.  The U14.5s also maintained their unbeaten run and sit on top of the ladder.  Better players for the Swans were Lane Cardenas, Tyler Marold, Sam Scott, Ty Collins, Will Russo and Harry Graham.  The colts played one of their best games of the year but need to keep winning to make the finals which would be an enormous achievement considering where they were with numbers at start of year.  It’s a credit to the boys and coaches Dean and Matt.  Award winners were Buo Majur, Jett Hinton, Seamus Doherty, Jude Seymour, Harry Scott and Stevie Polglase.  The reserves have had a tough year with numbers and last Saturday was no exception however the boys tried hard and did their best.  Award winners were Conner Arif, Brenton Halligan, Ben Pearse, Will Garvie, Jayden Boutkan and Jett Hinton.  The senior game was always going to be a battle with even more players not available last week.  It was a bit of a slog on the big ground and the effort was there but result didn’t go our way.  The side will be looking forward to today’s game against the Roos for a better showing.  Award winners Jarvis Keogh, Matt Wade, Tom Pontell, Xav Moloney, Toby Thoolen and Brendan Blackmore.
