After a week off, we head into the last few weeks of the regular season with only 3 more rounds to go.

This week we host Cohuna Kangas in our last home match for the year with some good games expected across both the football and netball.

FOOTBALL RESULTS

Seniors:

NNWU 10.14.74 defeated by Lake Boga 14.15.99

This is the game that got away with plenty of opportunities to kick a winning score. However, we couldn’t take our chances to record a win against a finals bound side. This week we have another good test against one of the favourites for this years title, so we need to bring a four quarter effort to give ourselves the best chance for a positive result.

Reserves:

NNWU 3.5.23 defeated by Lake Boga 15.8.98

In a tough day for the undermanned Reserves side, the boys were up against it against a top quality Boga side.

Colts:

NNWU 7.9.51 defeated by Lake Boga 12.8.80

The Colts put up a brave fight against the ladder leaders. Hopefully they can keep this form up with the chance of a spot in the finals still up for grabs.

Under 14.5:

While the scoreboard doesn’t paint a flattering story, the Under 14’s never stopped trying all day against one of the top sides in the comp.

Under 12:

NNWU vs Lake Boga

In toughest conditions for the day, the Under 12s battled away against some strong opposition. It’s great to see the improvement of this side over the year.

The netballers had some very good games on the courts, with a couple of wins and a few other very close games. We have a couple of sides still in contention for finals which is great to see.

Well done to the organisers of the Ball Tie Ball, which was a tremendous success for all that attended.
