The seniors battled hard all game & to their credit they never gave up which was highlighted by them winning the final quarter. Best Players –Ryan Regan, Zac Nichols, Brayden Pitcher, Alex Powell, Peter Rothacker & Gareth Grant. ALS Pewter Mug Award – Ryan Regan. 

The ressies had a tough day on the field but never gave up even though they found scoring hard in the second half. Awards: Country Club Hotel – Ben Doolan, Tooleybuc Sporting Club – Nick Murphy, WFI Insurance – Reece Tacken, Amaretto Almonds – Isikeli Bari.

The colts continued their good form against another one of the top teams with the boys only going down by a solitary point in the end. Awards: Seniors Coach Award – Riley Taylor, Sunrise Ag – Kal Hazlett, Swan Hill Packaging – Ashby Rogers, Roberts Rural Carpentry – Cam Fisher.

The U14’s game was a lot close than the end margin suggested with some excellent forward pressure used in what was a good team effort. Awards: JA Electrical – Cooper Plant, Seniors Coach Award – Anders Plant, Pooles & Associates – Ryder Morris, WFI Insurance – Connor Hazlett.

It was another excellent team effort in the U12’s with everyone putting in a great contribution. goFARM – Jack Barry, Truck Specialist – Aidan Plant, Pearsons Grain – Billy Kentish, BRM Electrical – Kruz Hazlett.

Netball Notes:

A Grade – The A Grade girls showed what a resilient and strong group of netballers they are putting up a great fight in the first game without Laura. A lapse in the second quarter was the only difference with a margin of two for all the other quarters. Peyto and Amy did a great job running both in defence and centre. And the connection between goalers Carlee and Zoe proved unbeatable.

A Reserve - A 10 goal deficit to the top team this week for A Reserve.  We will keep working on decreasing those unforced errors and capitalising on the hard work of our defenders.

B Grade – This week’s game was always going to be tough coming up against an undefeated Eagles side, whilst the girls fought hard throughout the game too many errors cost us dearly. Erin was a tower in defence getting her hand to nearly every rebound (when there was any) and Rachael worked hard in WA all game and then stepped to into goals for the last quarter.

B Reserve – This week was B Res week to shine and that they did! Taking home a well deserved win and the four points. Both Ella & Emily dominated the defence and the combination of Keisha and Paige in goals was an awesome fit! 

Under 18’s – A tight first half tussle against ME with the girls only 2 down at half time. Despite a third quarter lapse the girls should be proud of their efforts in the last quarter to fight until the end. Ella Foley received the award for determined play and high work rate for the entire game.

Under 16s - The 16’s had a good win against the eagles. Best on went to Ally for doing everything we asked of her and holding up a strong defensive line along with Liv and Lu Lu. 

Under 14’s – What a game by the U14s only going down by a few goals. The girls are improving every single week and are growing into a great team to work with. I couldn’t be more happier with the outcome against Lalbert. Best on went to Alyssa, she was very steady and controlled the game beautifully.

12 & Under – The 12 & Under girls had a great game this week against the Mallee Eagles, they strung together 4 solid quarters and used their channels to bring the ball down the court smoothly. Maya did a great job in both attack and defence.
