Mallee Eagles versus Tooleybuc May 6th 2023

We headed across to Tooleybuc expecting a cold wintry day but it was not so bad until later in the afternoon. It was great to see our Ressies have back to back wins and to top it off our seniors executed a great game to take out the 4 points. Our 2^nd quarter in particular was fantastic to hold them to only 2 points. Unfortunately we copped a couple of injuries again but hopefully with the week off we will be raring to go in 2 weeks time against Nyah at the Lalbert Rec Reserve. Our netballers had some convincing victories with all 4 senior teams taking the 4 points as well as our Under 18’s and Under 14’s. We currently have our Under 14’s, A Res and B Grade holding top position on the ladder. Go Eagles

RECRUITING:

Please continue to encourage young players to have a run with the Eagles-even if it is not every week. It would be great to boost our numbers in the Colts and Under 14’s. Our players are battling score wise each week but their determination to play hard and improve their skills is very encouraging.

SOCIAL EVENTS – LADIES’ DAY & MOCK WEDDING:

Following our Nyah game on May 20^th we have our Ladies’ Day followed by the Mock Wedding so put this date in your diaries.

                        DEB BALL: Good Luck to all our debutantes and their partners at the Town Hall on Saturday May 13^th. Doors open at 7.00pm, Presentation at 8.00pm and upstairs viewing is available for $5.00. Have a fabulous night.

AUSKICK & NET SET GO

Commenced 2 weeks ago with great numbers. Bec Berglund runs a great program and it’s not too late to register. They train and play on Wednesday nights at 4.00-5.00pm on the SH Primary School Oval.
