COHUNA KANGAS MATCH DAY SUMMARY SHEET

INTRODUCTION:
Well winter is well and truly here and saw a chilly day down the highway at Kerang.
Our U12 footballers and netballers certainly bought the heat to start the day. Girls had a great win on the court and the footballers were outstanding kicking multiple snags!
While we are on snags, I am reliably informed that Rick ‘The King’ Gray’s snag in the Reserves game was ‘chicken and rice’
Also, this game saw the clock wound back for P Taylor, kicking the opener. Great to see our former superstars chuck on the boots for the mighty Kangas when needed! If anyone from Radox is reading, we won’t say no to sponsorship of the weekly ‘vintage’ award
A number of superb wins over on the netball courts that has the future of Kangas netball looking positive
Final game of the day saw the Grand Final rematch. Whilst we didn’t get the win, the boys kept at till the final siren.
Huge thanks to our parents, coaches and volunteers who commit their time and energy every week to ensure we are able to field teams on the courts and field.
