Round two took us on a quick road trip out to Woorinen. The playing conditions were quite the contrast to that of round one, the jackets were left in the car for what turned out to be a sunny 22-degree day. The Juniors had a good morning coming up with some great wins on the netball court & the footballers had some close, well fought games. The Senior football & netball teams not as fortunate at the Den.
Our Senior boys were well & truly outclassed & outplayed on the day and didn’t have any answers to the Tigers game plan final score being 5.10.40 to Tigers 22.21.153. Best players were Hugh Broad, Elliot Broad, Zac Denham (2 goals), Isaiah Bull, Matthew Gilbee & Liam Whelan. It’s a new week this week against the raiders so let’s get some effort in for the win.
The under 12 boys had an even and tight clash with the tigers to start off the day, great team effort boys.
Under 14.5’s played a great game and was very close right to the end but unfortunately the dogs 39 were defeated by the tigers 54 best players were Tyler McDonald, Dylan Durbridge, Mitch Kelly, Jackson Hughes, Nash Benfield & Charlie Blake.
The Colts suffered a loss but they fought hard and just couldn’t convert on the day.  Tyntynder 20- Woorinen 136, Codi McDonald, Callan Jager, Samuel Nelson, Dylan Durbidge, Brodie Heumen, Tyler McDonald.
Much the same for our Ressie boys who suffered a loss 14 to tigers 152. Brad Carroll & Olli Wise both added a goal to the board.

The Junior netballers made the most of the warm & pleasant conditions to come away with some great wins.
In the A grade the dogs were 35 defeated by tigers 57, started out anyone’s game and a good one at that but unfortunately the Tigers got away and running in the second half. Award winners, Toni Rivett, Bridget Dedini & Nichola Miliano.
A Reserve – Dogs 28 defeated by tigers 39 awards not supplied.
In the B Grade, Dogs 24 were defeated by tigers 65. Award winners were Jade, Jess and Amber.
B Reserve came away winners defeating the tigers 46- 39. Awards went out to Rose, Lizzie & Olivia.
The Under 18’s enjoyed a win at the Den. Dogs 55 defeated tigers 18, great win for the girls with awards going to Audrey Domaille & Tahni Smith.
Under 16’s Dogs 10 were defeated by Tigers 67, not the loss they were wanting but heads up for next week against the raiders. Rod & Dawn Carroll Award went to Milla Nalder and the Styles cash award to Lauren Clarke.
The under 14 Dogs 27 defeated tigers 10, well done to the girls on their second win for the season.
Awards went to Chloe Nalder & Kieley Styles who worked hard all over the court.
Under 12’s had an enjoyable win at the Den, dogs 27 defeated tigers 03. Subway Award Eliza Lawry and Arie Wilson received the special Sharyn award.

Still awaiting news of how the rotating dinner panned out, always a highlight for the start of our social calendar. This week we take on Koondrook Barham at home where it’s the pups turn to get the disco ball out and enjoy DJ Max, games & pizza! A whole club function starting from 6pm, all welcome.
