What a day at Magpie land glorious autumn weather 5 from 5 in football can’t get much better than that Swoopers!

Also we had the privilege to host the Anzac game this year and what a privilege and honour it was for our club! To honour those brave men and women who fought for the freedom and our quality of life, in the Best country in the world and the greatest game there is Aussie rules! We salute you.

U/12 with scoring today our young Swoopers  played great team football and their running and tackling was awesome to see. This allowed them to get some great looks in front of goals which they nailed!

U/14.5 were able to keep Nyah goalless for the game and were fantastic on offence as well!  The young Swoopers are playing a great brand of team footy and enjoying Blake & Ollie game style.

Our Colts this week had a tougher assignment with Nyah. Our boys just missed out kicking a tonne, 99 points for the day!

In the reserves another tough encounter for our boys being 3 points down at half time.

But in the second half the boys put the foot to the floor and their speed and running ability was really noticeable with Nyah unable to match. Our boys coming out victorious by 14 points.

The main bout what a game in glorious conditions! The Seniors won a nail bitter by 1 point, in the first half Nyah kicked inaccurate and we were fortunate to be in front by

9 points at half time.

In the second half it was our turn to be inaccurate kicking 3 goals 9 with 6 points in the last.

With 5 minutes to go the boys looked home but 2 late goals by Nyah and with still 2 minutes to go. Nyah won the centre clearance and drove it forward but our young back managed to repeal the attack and sent the ball to Boundary with the siren sounding!

Today we head down the highway to Cohuna full of confidence and looking at going 3 and 0 afterwards head back to Boga Pub for the awards.
