If you weren’t soaking wet and looking like a drowned rat last Saturday did you even play, coach or umpire football and netball?! What a start to the 2023 season it was! We welcome all of our new and returning players, bigger and better things to come this year.. watch out! Thank you to all of those involved in making round one the success that it was, it is not possible without our incredible volunteers.

Thank you to the legends at Balranald for bouncing across for the wet day and sticking around for our casserole dinner - never disappoints. Not to mention a big thank you to the netballers for supplying the goods. 

Today we venture out to Tigerland for round 2. There will be plenty of hard balls to chase and some great match ups. Hopefully we can knock some 4 points on the board across the club. Go get ‘em! 

Seniors put up a good dog fight against the Roo boys but unfortunately they fought harder. Massive congrats to our boy Will Hawkins for making his senior debut - how special to have your beautiful fam all around you.

Colts unfortunately didn’t get the 4 points but put on an absolute nail biter, having us hold onto the edge of our seats.. sharing around the goal scoring which was great to see.

The U12s had a competitive game, showing some great skills. We are excited to see these pups grow and develop! Right before our eyes they will be running around in the seniors.

On the netball front the Roo girls proved to be very strong in the slippery conditions. There were a few slides on the court, even a dripping blood nose. But our girls held their own and fought hard across all games.
