Well…. and just like that here we are back at the footy for the start of what will no doubt be another action packed season. The club would like to give a big welcome to our members, sponsors and supporters for another season and hasn’t it come around quick. Off the field there has been minimal change at the top with Rick Plant and Tony Hoare remaining as joint presidents once again. Thank you to all committee & community members who have worked tirelessly over the summer to ensure everything is ready to go for another season. On the field Dean Helmers is once again the senior coach & this season he will be joined by Stephen Lyons as his assistant and it has been another busy off season for the recruiting team with a combination of fresh & familiar players recruited from far & wide. After slogging it out on the track all summer everyone will no doubt be looking forward to getting into it today & we wish Dean, Cub & all the players all the best for the season ahead. Other football coaches for the 2022 season are; Reserves – Kris Morris Colts – James Downing & Keagan Grant Under 14s – Brad Morris Under 12s – Gav Spinks The club thanks them for their commitment & wishes everyone an injury free season. Today we host Kerang at Tooleybuc in what will be a great test for all teams. Today’s match day sponsor is the Tooleybuc Sporting Club & & we thank them for once again taking on a major sponsorship role again this season. This weeks after match awards function will be held at the footy ground hall and it would be great to see as many people as possible make the effort to support the clubs functions this year. Netball Notes: Welcome everyone to season 2023 and big thank you must go to all the committee members & coaches who have been organising everything over the summer.
