Round 5 Highlight

In Round 5 we took on Murrabit @ Murrabit, with all teams putting up a great show. It was our A grade netballers in particular who put on a cracking match against ladder leaders Murrabit. What a game this was, with our girls coming out firing from the first whistle! It was a defenders game where turnovers were crucial and regularly capitalised on. We fought hard for all four quarters and were very proud of our efforts, falling short by just three goals. Ruah fought hard with her defensive pressure and Emilie dominated in the ring. Well done girls, very promising signs for the year to come!

Social events

Tonight, we have the netballers on dinner duty which we are sure will be delicious as always! Followed by the Big Draw for the round and the bar will remain open for the night.

Our next social event will be Ladies Day on May 28th after we take on Quambatook @ Wandella, focusing on breast cancer awareness. All ladies are welcome to attend whether it be players, friends, sisters, mothers, grandmothers. The netballers seem very confident that they have a huge day and night planned (sure to be some nervous footballers) so stay tuned, look forward to seeing you all there!

GOOD LUCK TO ALL TEAMS TAKING ON ULTIMA TODAY.

GO BOMBERS!!
