QFNC Match Report

The challenges just keep getting bigger for the senior footballers as we take on Nullawil on our home ground today . Last week the effort was sensational to defeat Wandella and keep second spot in our grasp . It was a fantastic night last week at the Goods and Services auction with an amazing amount raised . A big thankyou to all those who donated  to make the night such a success .

Reserves . It was another tough day for the seconds , with scoring opportunities hard to come by . Luke Boyd was in great form and Waylon used his strength well around the ground . Hodgey fought hard and got the boys on the scoreboard with a nice goal . Joel kept boring in all game and Braedon used his pace to good effect . Jai made good use of having a run in the midfield . Seniors . This game was a real battle all day with Wandella leading early and Quamby working hard to pull the game back in their favour . The defence was solid with Crusher and Davo continually outpointing their opponents . Dylan and Tobie were everywhere , making good use of the footy . Jonty held his own in the ruck while Gregor and Rick gave great contest to set up the forward line .A real gutsy effort by the boys to win by 12 points .
