Greetings and welcome to the 2022 Goldern Rivers football netball season from the Moulamein Football Netball Club Inc.
Football
This season sees the beginning of a new era at Moulamein with a raft of recruits that promises a great deal, with the inclusion of talent (both new and existing) this is generating excitement within and outside the club. Therefore we welcome everyone back with positive influences, and attitudes as we commit to a successful season.
The goal of the MFNC is to play a very exciting and competitive brand of football and deliver great fellowship within the games to aspire and achieve a better result than last season (4th). Senior coach Heath Moloney “we are looking to build on last season we are going to structure a team that will be a better team in 2022. We will be looking to play an exciting, fun brand of football”.
The positive attitude and numbers at training have not been seen for many a year and augers well for a challenge for all clubs to match our enthusiasm and desire to bring home the flag in 2022.
Our recruits and the retention of last season’s players see Moulamein in a light that will be the envy of the teams in the league. Moulamein has some outstanding talent available and is a committed team of footballers looking to a positive and challenging 2022.
There’s a great sense of excitement and anticipation, as we prepare for the opening bounce against Ultima at Ultima on Saturday afternoon.
Our players have worked incredibly diligently throughout the pre-season to be in the best possible shape to tackle the challenges they’ll encounter throughout the 2022 season.
Moulamein expects and will deliver a resounding victory today.
We wish the other sides well and look forward to some great games in 2022.
The Moulamein Football Netball Club Inc is a community-focused sports club that allows people of all genders and abilities to be welcomed within an inclusive environment to enjoy sports, social events, and community networking.
Netball
Moulamein will be fielding sides in all grades except the U17 girls whilst this is disappointing, we will have some very competitive sides in the other grades.
Senior coach Gemma Miller is looking forward to some great results in 2022 and is developing a team of champions into champion teams in all grades so beware the Swans in 2022.
All grades have excellent numbers and will make Moulamein a great challenge for the other sides.
