Last week we travelled up the road to Tooleybuc, where we had some great results in both the football and netball. To make the day even better, the Seniors recorded their first win of the season with a very strong performance. Well done.
This week we host the Koondrook Barham Raiders before we have the weekend off for Queens Birthday.
Congratulations to Zac Caccaviello who plays his 100th senior game today and Cam Henson who played his 50th club game last week.

FOOTBALL RESULTS

Seniors:
NNWU 20.14.134 defeated Tooleybuc Manangatang 2.5.17
From the first bounce through to the final siren, the seniors played a tremendous brand of footy to record a well deserved win. It was good to see that the work the boys had been putting in on the training track came together in a game. Now that we know we can play at that standard for the whole game, we need to bring that same effort each week, starting today.

Reserves:
NNWU 7.9.51 defeated Tooleybuc Manangatang 5.6.36
The reserves recorded their second win in a row in a dour struggle with the Saints. While the win was good, the highlight of the game was without doubt Cockers first ever goal. Hopefully there are many more ahead.

Despite having a few players affected by the flu, the Colts also continued on their winning run. They are playing some very good team football, as shown by their results.

Despite having some dewy conditions to start the game, the Under 14.5’s played a good standard of footy to record a strong win.

Our youngest footballers came up against a bigger and stronger Saints line up. While they didn’t score much, they had plenty of the football and seemed to enjoy themselves.
