A successful Pink Footy day last week as funds were raised for CanAssist and we thank everyone that purchased tickets, made donations and generally helped out on the day.

Seniors:
Our fellows were right in it up to half time then Woorinen ran away with the game after he main break. Awards went to Ryan Middlebrook (Mug), Tom Salau, Drew Lloyd, Jack Salau, Jarryd Stead and Harrison Soraggi (Incentives) and other better players were Connor Soraggi and Jordan Wilkins.

Reserves
The Ressie’s can not get a settled team and this does show on the scoreboard but we are racking up a lot of names that have played for us. Woorinen were a bit more superior on the day. Award winners were Bailey Brougham (BFC cash), Jamie Simpson (BFC cash), Ned Lay (BFC cash), Jack Farnsworth (BFC cash), David Morgan (BFC cash) and Paul Jealous (Mug). Other better players include Jakeb Curran and Quinton Davis.

Colts:
The boys are starting to get a team together and are playing some good footy but they did come up against a strong side on the weekend. Awards went to Cruz Jolliffe (Coach’s award), Lach Camin (Sam Papa cash), Jake Milosev (BFC cash), Zach Sutton (John Camin cash) and Toby Lay (Boyno & Anne Marie cash). Other better players were Isaac Longford, Sam Curran, Jack Helgeland, Tyrone Wickey and Zac Leslie.

The Under 14’s:
It was a great team game with everyone contributing and a very good win. Awards went to Angus Potter (Umpires), Benny Cimino (Coach’s), Nick Davis (Encouragement), Levi Ryan (Most improved), Harry Ross (Canteen), Sam Eames (Balranald Takeaway) and Coopah Ryan (Kyalite Pub).

The Scrubbers:
It was a great all round team game as they continue to improve every week. Better players were Charli Calleja (Umpires), Lucas Paton (Coaches), Isei Verevakabau (Most improved), Archie Alderucchio (Canteen), Reid Jolliffe (Takeaway), Dempsey Cimino (Encouragement) and Keegan Hillerman (Pizza).

Netballers:

A Grade:
WON – a scrappy win for our girls. Elli Brougham (Netball cash) and Taylin Barry (Mug) were our best.

A Reserve:
WON – the girls had a solid win with everyone contributing, it was great team effort. Madison Jess (Gillbee family cash) and Jordyn Jolliffe (Mug) our best.

B Grade:
DRAW – slow start but the girls got in and gave it their all to eventually drawing the game. Georgia Lee (Balranald Motor Inn) and Kiandra Dalton (Mug) our best.

B Reserve:
LOST – the girls played well and are improving each week. Charli Scott (Balranald Sports) and Ebony Gleeson (Mug) our best.

Under 18’s:
LOST – such a great game to watch, the girls implemented some great passages of play but we do need to string 4 quarters together. Charlie Ross (Balranald Bakery) and Billie Renata (Netball cash).

Under 16’s:
WON – a great effort all round today especially in our defensive play and a big thanks to Bella and Ellie for stepping up from the U’14s. Nicole Kayne (Smithers Transport) and Prue Harper (Lake Paika).

Under 14’s:
LOST – well played game from both teams.

Under 12’s:
LOST – the girls played really well against a very tall team and they did everything the coach asked of them. Lani Jones (Moores Buslines cash) and Lily Haines (BFC canteen) our best.

Social Scene:
18th June – Roo Ball - $50 tickets can be purchased from Image 101, In The garden and Balranald Sports.

Reserved Parking: Reserved parking is being kept to a limit this year and will be offered only to those that had parking last year. We will also be asking that those who do not sit with their car to free up their parking.
