Well after a convincing win in Senior footy and a draw against previous grand finalists in A grade netty WE ARE BACK ! Not to mention the all grades again performing strong and displaying great sportsmanship on both the court and on the oval. There’s a lot to be proud of this season coming out of Boga.

The Seniors were simply too good when it mattered against a determined opposition in a great game.Best: A Monfries, D Dzufer, T Williams, J Simpson J Filo & M Filo.

The Reserves again were all business and put on another polished display of team football.Best; T Richardson, Byron Holt, C Mirtschin, Jacson Stewart, D Hayes & G Goodes.

The Colts shrugged off some early resistance to pull up their socks and bring home the bacon.

Best; N Taylor, P Tonkin, X Sherlock, K Ryan, & H Bull.

U/14.5s came up against some big lads and found the going a bit tough but all players held their heads high Best; M Oreilly, M Caruso, L Bull, A Hartland, R Mulligan & W Holmes.

U/12s showed that training and practice brings great improvement with this being seen from week to week Best;L Mayes, E O’Bryan, J Summerhayes ,T Arnett & A Kristen.

NETBALL

What a day at the court. Once again, our teams didn’t take the foot of the pedal and continue to grow.

Our junior side had a fantastic day with 4/4 games. It’s only round 3 and we are starting to see where our coaches and teams have been putting in the work. Some very happy but tired players after the morning rounds. Would like to congratulate Milla Holt and Madison Davies for being called into A Reserve team as training partners for the rest of the season. Two promising young players.

Our snr sides had a mix of results and we always knew playing Swan Hill would be a tough day at the office. We left the courts with a great sense of direction and training notes. With teams now starting to get players back the gelling and growth will continue. A grade had and expected tight tussle finishing in a draw but head back to Lake Boga with plenty of things to tweak

It’s back to Boga this weekend with another competitive opposition to contend with. Players Auction is on after tea in the clubrooms so get your consortiums together and get behind a fun event that’s been a great night in previous years. Looking forward to another great day of sport so let’s keep the band wagon rolling
