Club Notes
& Team Lists

We had mixed results last week against Tooleybuc-Manang as a great crowd was in attendance.

The trivia night went well after the game and there were not too many protests lodged.

Bree Hodgson (Under 17’s) and Isabella Papa (Under 13’s) represented our Club in interleague on Sunday. Well done girls.

Seniors:
It wasn’t one of the boys best games as the Tooley-Manang boys virtually lead all day. Better players on the day were Drew Lloyd, Jydon Neagle, Tom Salau, Col Andrews, Connor Soraggi and Jordan Wilkins. Awards went Col Andrews (Mug & cash), Drew Lloyd, Jordan Wilkins and Josh Hodgson (Incentives). We also wish Shane Middlebrook with his recovery over a serious broken leg.

Reserves
The Ressies had their first win for the season and it was good to see that we had ample numbers to pick from. Award winners were Ben Jones, Aydn Herman, Jamie Simpson, Jack Farnsworth and Jakeb Curran. Other better players include Ben Fuller, David Morgan and Jess Scott.

Colts:
The boys were well held as the opposition were a bit more superior on the day. Award winners were Toby Lay, Sam Curran, Isaac Longford, Caleb Hines and Lach Camin.

The Under 14’s:
The boys played well for the first 3 quarters and let themselves down in the last. They need to work on a bit at training. Awards went to Jack Lowe (Umpires & Takeaway), Jett Militto (Coach’s), Jed Paton (Encouragement), Harry Ross (Most improved), Jordan Cimino (Canteen) and Archie Alderruchio (Kyalite Pub).

The Scrubbers:
In another great team game the scrubbers had another win. Better players were Hamish Matarazzo (Umpires), Noah Bodinnar (Coaches), Lucius Stevens (Most improved), Josh Renfrey (Canteen), Lucas Paton (Takeaway) and Keith Ellis (Encouragement).

Netballers:

A Grade:
WON – a tough game after a couple of weeks off. The girls were able to run it out against the strong Saints side. There were some brilliant passages of play with potential to improve again in the coming weeks. Bree Hodgson (Netball cash) one of our best.

A Reserve:
Lost – the scoreboard did not show the commitment of the girls as they fought hard all game. Chloe Militto (Gillbee family cash) our best.

B Grade:
WON – played well as a team and defence worked really well together. There was great pressure down the court for all players. Gemm Murrel (Balranald Motor Inn) and Camilla McMahon (Mug) our better players.

B Reserve:
Lost – the girls went down by the 1 point, but they all fought hard and should be proud of their efforts. Myah Williams (Balranald Sports) was our best.

Under 18’s:
WON – in a tough game our girls came away with a win but there is still room for improvement. Macy Lloyd (Balranald Bakery voucher) and Bree Hodgson (Netball cash) were our best.

Under 18’s: catch up game versus Woorinen:
WON – up against a strong Woorinen team our girls really fought hard to get the win, the scoreboard did not reflect the competitive game. Billie Renata (Balranald Bakery voucher) and Grace Morton (Netball cash) were our best.

Under 16’s:
Lost – played well against a tough opposition. Nicole Kayne (Smithers Transport), Jorjah Finch (Lake Paika) and Shelley Dalton (BFC towel).

Under 14’s:
WON – good fighting, good back up, good defence and good team work. Ellie Finch (BFC towel), Isabelle Papa (S&L Papa cash) and Mollie & Bailey (Coach’s) all played well.

Under 12’s:
Lost – the girls played well against a tall and talented team. We rotated 13 girls and our defence palyed well. Zara Ellis (Moores Buslines cash) and Sienna Comitti (BFC towel) our best.

Social Scene:
We14th May – Swan Hill game – Grand Friends day, Can Assist Day and Jumper Auction.
28th May – Woorinen game – Roo Fest
29th May – Elite Athletes Day at Guff’s.
