The sun was shining and the kennel was buzzing on a stunning autumns day as we took on Tooleybuc / Manang in our first home game, a big welcome to the new and returning faces. With our first Auskick and Netta sessions there was a sea of red, white and blue with kids running everywhere! Our new club jumpers sponsored by National Tiles Bendigo and the Commercial Hotel glistened in the afternoon sunlight, our reserves and seniors definitely found them comfortable both recording large wins. “Eaglemania” came to town with the new recruit putting in a solid first up performance! The Deb ball was a huge success with the debutants dancing up a storm, an amazing effort by Leanne Bibby and her team. Big thanks to everyone who helped out on the day to make our first home game a winner! All the best for the Easter break, as we look forward to taking on Koondrook Barham in our next encounter!

After a slow start our boys put the foot down and went on to record a big win in their first home game. The Eagle landed and kicked a bag in his first outing while Tom Gilbert denied our young stats kids any chance of getting time out to go to the canteen! Best players for the day were, Jason Eagle, Cameron Cook, Tom Gilbert, Marcus Wattie , Solly MacKay, & Harry Simpson.
