MAGPIE NATION
Another fantastic weekend of results for The Club with the score sheet not showing only a small blemish on both the netty courts or the footy oval in a truly dominant display. Along with the wins came a bumper home crowd and great social doo to make it a great day all round.
The Senior footballers controlled the match with a disciplined 3 quarters to eventually in the forth blow the River Raiders back into NSW with an awesome goal fest to come away convincing winners. Best; N Holmes-Brown, A Monfries, M.Filo, Dusty Burns(Impressive debut), J. Simpson and R Fox.
The Reserves started impressive and finished GF favourite’s according to some ex spurts.The boys are running hot. Best; P Storer, M Whitfeild, T Richardson, S Oreily, D Hayes and J Harvey.
The Colts was a whitewash , boom.. Best; F Colville,R Harvey, P Tonkin, H Hartland, B parsons and H Bull to mention a few.
U/14.5’s sliced and diced the opposition with the skill of a sushi chef. Best;Will Pye, M Oreily, K Fleming, M Caruso, N Noble and G Tonkin.
U/12’s taught the Raiders a lesson while still learning themselves Best; Z Everett, W Lazarou, E Ray, T Colville and R Klomp.
NETBALL
With only 2 junior games happening due to a forfeit of a side and a team not fielded in a grade all focus was on the one court. The introduction of senior junior buddy groups kicked off this week and was nice to see the interaction of the two groups chatting after the games. Something we will continue to support and grow.

Senior teams were well placed during the day and we can now see what a difference having a couple of games played has made over the 2 weeks. We would like to put out a special mention to the girls from Koondrook that ran out 2 full games just to get teams on the court for today. Absolute legends and the sportsmanship was amazing.
A big Sunday game against traditional rivals and we still owe them plenty ,so roll on Magpies and lets keep the bandwagon at full steam.
