The boys came to play and Troy Coates had 5 goals on the board in no time. The game was virtually put out of reach with a 10 goal second quarter and another 10 in the second half saw the Blueboys run out winners 26 - 21 177 to 6 - 4 40.

Reserves
A wonderful day for football at Riverside Park and the magoos turned on an excellent performance against a spirited but a little undermanned Nyah team.
They never stopped trying all day, all credit to them. Amongst the best was the ever reliable Dooley senior who racked up possie after possie and used all of them except for kicking at goal. This wasn’t a problem for Nick Pay though who had a great game for the second week in a row, keeping the pressure on the senior boys. Nathan Boysen was also very good, never wasting a disposal. Ethan McKnight snagged 4 goals in an encouraging display up forward.
Awards: BK Publishing: Cody Tuohey, McKnight Concreting: Nick Pay, A & S Gray Plumbing: Sam Nitschke, Can Bar: Ethan McKnight, Coach’s Award: Nathan Boysen, Tool of the Week: Tim Nitschke
