Welcome back to football and netball for season 2022. After the disrupted year in 2021, everyone is hoping that we can get through the full year without too many interruptions.

The off-season has seen a bit of change in the netball club, with new coach Laura Anderson joining the club as senior coach. Along with Laura, there have been a lot of new faces at training which is great to see. Welcome to Laura and all the new netballers to the club. The coaches for this year are:

• A Grade Laura Anderson
• A Reserve Janene Thompson
• B Grade Mel Henson
• B Reserve Cassie Andrews
• Under 16’s Kerri Curran
• Under 14’s Melissa Snyder
• Under 12’s Teina Lusty & Jess Whitfield

On the other side, the footy has remained pretty similar, with Corey continuing on as senior coach, while Marcus Skinner has taken over as sole coach of the Reserves team.

The footy coaches for this year are:

• Under 14.5’s Matt Curran
• Under 12’s Ash Thompson

HOW CAN YOU HELP

Whether it be with one of the footy or netball teams, or around the club in general, don’t be afraid to volunteer. Vicki Allen is running the kitchen on Thursday nights while Cassie Andrews will be in charge of the canteen on Saturdays at home game and would always welcome your help. If you are like some of us and don’t know your way around a kitchen, then you might be able to help out with umpiring or time keeping in the netball or football - I’m sure we can find something for you. As we all know, many hands make light work.

CLUB MEMBERSHIPS & MERCHANDISE

Another way to support the club is to buy a membership and some new merchandise. Vicki has all the different memberships that you can have, while there is plenty of club merchandise at the bar. Get in quick and show your support.
